The 2016 Club AGM took place at the clubhouse on Sunday 8 January in front of a great attendance with a compliment of players and parents. The meeting opened with a minute silence to honor and remember those who have passed through the year.
The Secretary’s Report delivered by Brian O'Halloran ran through the various competitions that Mungret St. Pauls had entered. Covering the highs and lows from all sections in the club. Reports from the various other sections were read; Healthy Club, PRO, Child welfare, Brian thanked the sponsors to the club and everyone that supported the club’s events.
The Treasurer’s Report by Brendan Ryan took the members through the Financial Statements for the year ending 31st August 2016.
The keynote speech was Maurice Walsh Chairman’s Address. It was a bittersweet year as the club progresses to Premier Intermediate hurling in great style for this year, but did not manage to covet many juvenile titles.The Music Festival Committee was highly praised as were all the volunteers for the spectacular event that drew many people to our club, who may never of known about us. Maurice also congratulated every player who represented Limerick through the year and wish the best of luck to those who wear the county colours this year.The Chairman thanked his fellow officers for their support and enthusiasm throughout the past year. He thanked all members, supporters and sponsors for their continued support. Maurice also acknowledged the outgoing chairpersons for the other sections. Sinead Hickey for Camogie, Dermot Flahive for Juvenile and Matt Fennell for Ladies Football and welcomed fellow Kerry native to his new roll; John Rochford who is now Chairman for the juvenile section and Larry Mason who was elected the Chairman for the Ladies Football.
The election of officers took place with the Patron of the club to be confirmed.

The following items were passed
1. A list of club members placed on the notice board by 15th of March.
2. Officers and members names from the 5 committee's available on the noticeboard.
3. A financial report to be given quarterly at the open meetings.
4. Each committee report updates quarterly at the open meetings.
5. The 5 year plan is to be reviewed by early March.
6. First aid available at all matches.
From the floor it was questioned that the new gym stay as a gym not as its original use of a storage. It was confirmed that discussions are currently being made on a resolution.
