Mungret St. Pauls 5-11 Granagh-Ballingarry 0-7
A Chilly but dry Sunday 11 December in Adare Mungret St. Pauls where a depleted team yet again with a lot of players committed to work and family occasions but they took to the pitch all the same. There were a lot of younger players on the pitch for Mungret St. Pauls and they quickly settled into the game not letting Granagh-Ballingarry getting much ball to their forwards. A goal and two points were notched up very quickly. By the end of the first half a hat trick of goals match with 9 points had Mungret St. Pauls well in the lead against Granagh-Ballingarrys four points. The second half saw a slower start where it took 16 minutes before either team scored this was Granagh-Ballingarry getting in one of three points in this half. Mungret St. Pauls were playing into the sun and send a few balls wide of the goals but made sure the goal balls were well placed in the net. This was a great game for the younger players which brings them through to the final next weekend where they face Galtee Gaels in Kilbreedy at 8pm on Friday 16 December.
