Scór na nÓg City Final were on Tuesday 15 November in Na Piarsaigh. Well done to all our competitors, they represented our club very well; to our Rince Foirne Céilí (Figure Dancing), Amhránaíocht Aonair (Solo Singing), Aithriseoireacht/Scéalaíocht (Recitation/Storytelling), Ceol Uirlise (Instrumental Music), Bailéad Ghrúpa (Ballad Group) and Rince Seit (Set Dancing).
Congratulations to Aoibheann Cosgrove, Amhránaíocht Aonair (Solo Singing), Gillian Buckley, Aithriseoireacht/Scéalaíocht (Recitation/Storytelling) and to our Ceol Uirlise (Instrumental Music) Claire Murphy, Cian Connolly, Aoife Connolly,Cillian Higgins and Iarlaith Cosgrove who went on to represent Mungret St. Pauls in the County Final on Friday 18 November, each of our entrants put in a fantastic performance and were very unlucky to not progress, well done and Thank you for all your hard work.
A special thank you to Anne Hynes and Aileen Nestor for training the figure dancers, Margureite Quinn for her help with the ballad group and Paula Dillon for training the set dancers and to Anne Flannery Hayes who helped with all the organising.
