Both our teams were out again this weekend while are younger team are getting experience playing on their first Senior pitch and coming to terms with the bigger size goals they had a strong Monaleen who were not able to beat our players spirit as they played at their stongest throughout the game. Well done to our players, games are where you get your experience and getting an insight to what awaits you next year when you are on the age. One last game for this team to be played next Monday against Ballylanders away.
The older players stayed home on Monday 10 October 2016 and gave Ahane a tough game, with Mungret St. Pauls having enough players to field almost 2 teams, Ahane were on a player shortage. Ahane who were not to give up too easy and with Mungret St. Pauls not letting much ball through for our backs they still got in a good game. A great win for the Division 1 team who make it through to the Final on Saturday 29 October in Mick Neville Park
A heroic game played by our U-12 team on Sunday 16 October when they traveled to Ballylanders in the last of their U-13 football matches. Well done to the team and their coaches for all the hard work they put in playing a year above themselves.
