Our U10 camogie girls took part in the annual county blitz held at LIT on Saturday September 17. The blitz was very well attended with 30 teams and over 400 girls from around the county taking part. Mungret St. Pauls got off to a flyer, wining all four of their group matches before going on to win their A quarter final. After 2 hours of camogie on the day the girls were unfortunate to loose out by a single point to the eventual final winners Knockaderry in a tight semi final. Our girls did their club and supporters proud with a great display of skill, commitment and sportsmanship both on and off the pitch. Well done to all the girls. U10 camogie training will continue through the winter at the Crescent Comprehensive from 7pm to 8pm on Wednesday nights. New members are always welcome with hurleys and helmets available if any girls fancy giving it a try.
