This Sunday 2 October starting at 11am our club will host the Stephen Cahill Memorial U10 Football Tournament with a series of matches against visiting teams from Fermoy, Ballyduff (Kerry), St. Josephs Doorabearfield (2), Adare and Fr. Caseys from Abbeyfeale, with Mungret St. Pauls producing two teams. Each team on the day will be guaranteed 3 matches each. Catering will be provided on the day by the hardworking Parents of our own U-10 Group and we welcome ALL Football followers to drop in, have a cup of tea and a chat, and - most importantly - be entertained by the excellent Football skills of these young players from the other Clubs.
As in previous years, this celebration of Juvenile Football will be a fitting tribute to the memory of a man who, like many others, gave selflessly of his time and energy to promoting football in the club and in the local primary school. We welcome Stephens family who represent him on the day. Throw-in at 11am sharp. Your support on the day will be greatly appreciated.
