Mungret St. Pauls 1-11 Patrickswell 0-12

On Monday 19 Sept the U-16s headed into a play off against Patrickswell with home advantage. The winners would play Na Piarsaigh and the losers play Garryspillane in the Semi final. Patrickswell started off strong from the off with Mungret St. Pauls trailing for the majority of the game. It was not until the last 10 minutes that Mungret St. Pauls really came back into the game with a great strike into the goals to bring the score to an even keel. Into injury time it was next point wins and with that Mungret St. Pauls won the puck out and sent it back for the winning point. The game continued and the pitch went silent as Patrickswell were awarded a 45. Luckily for Mungret St. Pauls the sliotar missed the target and the final whistle was blown. The semi final match is scheduled for Sat 1 Oct in Claughaun at 12.15pm against Na Piarsaigh. All support welcome.
