Like with the U-14 championship we have two teams out at the U-13 age group with the division 1 team made up of mainly U-13 players and the division 3 team made up of U-12 players. Both matches played on Monday 12 September.
Mungret St. Pauls 2-10 Doon 3-3
The Division 1 team got off to a great win but a slow start. They let Doon take the lead early but it only took the U-13s 10 minutes to get into the game and when they did they were at every turn when Doon had the ball and worked the sliotar well through the Mungret St. Pauls players. A well deserved win.

While the other U-13 team were playing in the Senior Mungret pitch this younger team were on the village pitch where they had their first taste of U-13 hurling, there is still room to grow in skill and working together as a team, a lot of potential in this group, they start on a loss but more matches to come.
