We had both our U-14 football teams out in Semi Finals on Saturday.
Askeaton, Ballysteen, Kilcornan 4-8 Mungret St. Pauls 3-3
The Division 1 players were up first in the plate final against Askeaton, Ballysteen, Kilcornan in Askeaton. There were a lot of goals scored in this. Mungret St. Pauls put in a great game having only loosing to this team by one point last time it seems that the home team put in a stronger effort.
Ballylanders 3-5 Mungret St. Pauls 1-4
The second match was with the Division 3 team made up predominantly of our U-13 team wit an addition of a few U14 and U12 players, this was the Cup semi Final for them a great achievement for the young players and they were unlucky to not get the win. They start their U-13 Championship in October.
The coaches would like to thank all 28 of the lads for their efforts during the year in training and the matches and are looking forward to the U13 Championship in October.
