Intermediate Hurling
Mungret St. Pauls 4-20 Feenagh Kilmeedy Gaa 1-12
This was a match with a bit of entertainment added with a helmet change, a cobbler on the pitch, a missing whistle and some hurley maintenance. For Mungret St. Pauls the mix of young and experienced players is working well together.
It did not start great when the first Mungret St. Paul player to touch the sliotar was our goalie and with the first 2 points for both sides coming from frees, the players eventually settled into the game and scores started to come from play. Mungret St. Pauls took the lead with Feenagh Kilmeedy drawing level a few times Mungret St. Pauls eventually pulled ahead and kept the lead for the rest of the match.
Mungret St. Pauls stand in third place on the table with only one more match to play against the table toppers on point difference Pallasgreen, a win in the next match will put them in a very comfortable position.
