A disappointing night for both the U-14 hurlers on Wednesday 20 July.
U-14 Hurling Div 1 Ballybrown 1-8 Mungret St. Pauls 1-7
This match was played in Ballybrown and it really took the team to get into the second half of the match to bring the team into the game. With close calls on a goal they just were piped by one point in the end. This was the last game in the championship for the Div 1 players they shadow Ballybrown by score difference and await the second group to complete their matches before they find out who they play in the Semi final.
U-14 Hurling Div 3 South Liberties 8-8 Mungret St. Pauls 3-8
This team played in the Village pitch and gave their best performance in the first half leaving it two points ahead only to return to a stronger game from South Liberties and it was the final goals that did the damage. This team will learn from this match and bring it to the final two games they play in this Championship before as they prepare for their U-13 Championship matches.
