Patrickswell 3-16 Mungret St. Paul’s 3-12
Monday 16 May Mungret St.Pauls welcomed Patrickswell. The game started with only 14 players for Mungret St. Pauls but they quickly gained their final player to the field before the game settled in. Patrickswell had control in the first half and were looking like they had the game in hand. In the second half Mungret St. Pauls lifted it up and started to hit back at the Patrickswell score. With goals being popped in past the Patrickswell keeper Mungret were looking good until they had to loose a player to injury. This did not put the home team down and they powered on working together.
The whispers began on the sideline as Mungret St. Pauls seemed to have gained their 15th player- the roumours reveiled it was none other than the coach himself, Kevin O'Hagan back from retirement for one night only ! Well done to the team with things going against them they left the game with a four point loss.
