Our girls travelled the short distance to Mary Immaculate College on Tuesday 16 May to take on NCW in the A league semi-final. After loosing out to NCW by the slimmest of margins in the Feile semi-final both our players and mentors were hoping to negate that loss with a determined and assured performance. From the onset it was evident that our players were up for the game as they battled with NCW score for score in the first half and went into the interval with a one point lead. Our girls signaled their intention early on in the second half with some fine team work resulting in well taken scores to push home our advantage. We continued to battle in all areas of the field not allowing NCW time to get any momentum and disputing their flow as much as possible and were rewarded with a well earned victory on a scoreline of 3-8 to 2-4. Our team meet Crecora in the A Final next Tuesday venue and time to be announced your support at the final would be much appreciated. Mungret St Pauls Camogie ABU!!!
