Mungret St. Pauls 0-4 Ballybrown 0-7
This match was advertised as one to watch as the neighbours were in competition again. Having met each other at the U13 County final in 2015 we were going to find out if a year can make a difference. Both teams had done their work and ready for the game. The supporters had filled the stand at Claughaun and were encouraging their team on. Ballybrown had the opening score but in this low scoring match, wides made a difference. Ballybrown seemed to be a step ahead of Mungret the whole match as the lads were playing catch up. They went in at half time behind and came out geared up for another 20 minutes where there would fight for every ball. Unfortunately for our lads it was the neighbours who took the Féile home for the first time with their 3 point lead. Well done to our players who through out the games have given it their all. To the mentors, parents and supporters who were behind the them all the way. They have the County title to look for now.
