Mungret St. Pauls 0-11 Patrickswell 2-12
On Sunday 6 September 2020 in Clarina our Junior A hurlers played their second last match of the Championship against near neighbours Patrickswell.
Mungret St. Pauls matched both of Patrickswells opening points but while Mungret St. Pauls were still settling into the game Patrickswell had a strong hold on the score board and went a goal and three points up before Mungret St. Pauls pointed 4 unanswered closing the gap. Before the break Patrickswell managed another two points to Mungret St. Pauls pointed free so the half time score was 0-7 to 1-7.

Mungret St. Pauls reopened the score board back from the break. Patrickswell took their opportunity and punished Mungret St. Pauls with their second goal and a point. The next two scores went Mungret St. Pauls way but Patrickswell were winning the dirty ball and making use of it pointing another 4 balls to Mungret St. Pauls one.
