Venue was changed to Muroe on the morning of the match. It was a tough match but an even tougher pitch to play on. The ground was very soft which made the play very heavy.
Down 5 points at half time Mungret St Pauls were with the wind in the second half and had the dying sun behind them, as hard as they tried Muroe Boher ended up the better, this is only the first of eight matches for this team. They don't see the next match until July1 when they meet Na Piarsaigh on home soil.
