Mungret St. Pauls 0-17 Pallasgreen 0-17

It was a very sunny evening in Claughaun for the last round of the Premier Intermediate hurling on Saturday 14 September. This game was more a formality it, Mungret St. Pauls had secured their place in the Semi Final while Pallasgreen were facing relegation .

Mungret St. Pauls had 4 points scored before Pallasgreen pointed on the eight minute. Mungret St. Pauls and Pallasgreen pointed again, Mungret St. Pauls then doubled their points to Pallasgreens one. Both sides alternated their scores until the half time whistle with Pallasgreen squeezing in an extra point leaving half time score Mungret St. Pauls 0-11 to Pallasgreen 0-8.

The second half was similar to the first with both sides matching each others points. There were a few attempts on goal but the swift movement of the backs and goalie cleared all from danger. Pallasgreen hit their stride in the last ten minutes of the game and went 3 points unanswered to level the game.
