This was a very low scoring game played in Adare on Sunday 8 September, but it was a game of skill and determination as both sides wanted the go through to the final. The Limerick Motor Centre sponsored Intermediate ladies put everything they had into this game with a great mixture of youth and experience throughout the field.

Mungret St. Pauls backs positioned themselves in the right place to catch Drom Broadfords chances to get the ball into our half of the pitch. At the start of the last quarter of the game both sides had pointed 2 balls each. A light drizzle of rain came which did not seem to bother the players as they held tight to the ball, another point to each side it looked like Drom Broadford could not bridge the gap with Mungret St. Pauls defenses working hard to get the ball out. With 5 minutes left Mungret St. Pauls pointed a free, they kept going but any further attempts on scoring went wide.
