On Monday 22 July we had two U-16 matches

Mungret St. Pauls 1-14 Fr. Casey's 0-4

The Division 1 team was played in Abbeyfeale where Mungret St. Pauls put Fr. Casey's to the test and came out on top. This was a great performance where Mungret St. Pauls showcased their skill. They have one match left to play against Galbally but are currently topping the group having won all their matches so will still be in the top 2 places regardless of the result.

Mungret St. Pauls 2-14 Claughaun 3-3

The Division 3 team traveled up the road to Claughaun. These two teams were evenly matched in age, both being made of mainly 15 and 14 year old players. Mungret St. Pauls took their points when they got the chance which is where they won the game. This was a great way for the team to finish off their group stages they are sitting in second place on the table having won 4 matches and losing only 1. They now await the last game to be played in August to see where they are left on the table as Bruff is under them with one game loss also but with a better scoring average if they win their next match they knock Mungret St. Pauls into third place. This team are prepared and ready for their own league which is not yet fixed due to the Minor hurling teams success.
