Well done to our U-12 hurlers who were delighted to be able to play on the same pitch as their Limerick heros. This was a very well run event where there were teams from many different counties. Mungret St. Pauls were first matched up against Holycross Ballycahill from Tipperary. In this game Mungret St. Pauls proved slightly too strong for their competitors. The second match was against Braodford in Clare, this was a very tight game with only one strike of the ball separating the two sides. The last match was against EireOg, Ennis in Clare, Mungret St. Pauls started slow in this match but made up for it by the final whistle drawing the match. Well done to the players for a great display of hurling, to the coaches for their encouragement and dedication. Thank you to Noel Hartigan and his band of young referees.
This group of players also got the exciting news that they get to play in Semple Stadium in Thurles on Tuesday. We hope you enjoy it, not everyone gets to play in 2 great venues in one week.
