Mungret St. Pauls 0-16 Camogue Rovers 2-13

On Tuesday 25 June in Mungret in the fantastic sunshine. Mungret St. Pauls started well in the match taking an early lead and holding it throughout the first half. Mungret St. Pauls held onto the lead for most of the second half but Camogue Rovers caught up and with 2 goals they secured a win.

Mungret St. Pauls built a 3 point lead before Camogue Rovers on the 12th minute pointed from a free. Both sides shared the next 6 points, Mungret St. Pauls finished the half with 2 additional points while Camogue Rovers pointed the last point of the half.

Mungret St. Pauls came out strong with 2 points in the restart, Camogue Rovers followed with their own 3 points, there was a point a piece and Mungret St. Pauls went another 4 unanswered, there was a break in play for the players to get water and this was what turned out to be the turning point of the game as Camogue Rovers had a goal and 3 points scored before Mungret St. Pauls could reply with a point from a free but Camogue Rovers hit hard again and went another goal and point to win the game.
