Mungret St. Pauls would like to extend our Deepest Sympathies to the Cotter family and Mungret Regional Soccer club on the passing of Pat Cotter. Sympathies to Pat's wife Rita, son Brian, Brian's partner Caoimhe, grandson Caelan, sister Maimie, family, relatives and friends.

Anyone who has been to the village pitch would often see Pat going about his busy day looking after the soccer club, he was in Mungret St. Pauls every Monday night for the lotto and looked after the 45 card drive. Pat is a past player of the club, he received a medal in 1969 when he played with the Junior hurlers who won the county title. He will be very much missed by all who knew him, especially all in the Mungret community.

Reposing this Monday evening 10 June- Pat is due to travel through Mungret village where he spent a lot of his time, the soccer club are doing a guard of honor. Everyone is welcome to join in (wearing soccer or GAA colours) to honor this great gentleman. Expected time is 3.25 to 3.45pm on Monday before traveling to Daffy's Funeral Home, Croom for 6pm , followed by removal at 8pm to St. Mary's Church, Meanus. Funeral Tuesday 11 June, after 11.30am Requiem Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
