Mungret St. Pauls 1-9 Castletown Ballyagran 2-26

On a lovely sunny Monday, 20 May in Mungret the Junior hurlers took to the pitch in what was going to be a tough game with Castletown Ballyagran very strong and leading the whole way, Mungret St. Pauls scored their first point just before the finish of the first quarter while Castletown Ballyagran had scored 7 points. The visitors continued to add on scores to the end of the first half it ended 0-1 to 1-16. Mungret St. Pauls had to make an improvement to secure more points which they did, from the start Mungret St. Pauls pointed 3 in row before Castletown Ballyagran returned to their earlier form and added on another 8 points before Mungret St. Pauls broke their stride with a point and a well taken penalty. Castletown Ballyagran returned with their second goal. Mungret St. Pauls had a very strong final few minutes as they seemed to score with ease another 4 points to Castletown Ballyagrans 2 points.
