Mungret St. Pauls 1-13 Grannagh Ballingarry 3-3

On a sunny Tuesday evening 30 April in Mungret our Junior Camogie players welcomed Grannagh Ballingarry to the pitch. This was a game where the great skill from both sides shone, the Grannagh Ballingarry goalie was not letting anything past her which did not stop Mungret St. Pauls from trying their best to get as many goals as possible past her. Mungret St. Pauls lead the whole match, they had 2 points collected before Grannagh Ballingarry scored from a free. Mungret St. Pauls then added on another 3 points with the away teams goalie denying Mungret St. Pauls attacks on the goal line. Grannagh Ballingarrys next point came from their second placed ball. Before the half time whistle Mungret St. Pauls added on 2 more points while Grannagh Ballingarry signed off the half with a strong goal.

The second half Mungret St. Pauls put the pressure on again. They had 2 points on and with a lot of force on the backs Mungret St. Pauls eventually broke through to score their goal. With fresh legs on the pitch Mungret St. Pauls continued to score. The play went to the Mungret St. Pauls backs and Grannagh Ballingarry tried every angle but the Mungret St. Pauls backs held them off. The Grannagh Ballingarry goalie struck again and shot down another challenge on the goals by Mungret St. Pauls, they sent the ball to the other end of the pitch and scored their second goal. It was a point a piece, then Mungret St. Pauls scored their last point before Grannagh Ballingarry finished off the game with their final goal.
