Mungret St. Pauls 0-11 Kilmallock 1-10
Kilmallock hit hard in the opening minutes and Mungret St. Pauls were chasing the score for the rest of the match in Mick Neville Park on Friday 15 February 2019.

The ball was warmed up from a lot of play in the centre of the field before Kilmallock struck with a killing goal. Mungret St. Pauls regained their composure and scored a point from play only for Kilmallock to quickly reply with their own point. Kilmallock added to their score further by another 2 points from play before Mungret St. Pauls received a free which was pointed. The next 7 scores were all on target with 3 for Mungret St. Pauls and 4 for Kilmallock this widened the gap to 5 points between them. The half time came just after Mungret St. Pauls scored on their forth free.

Mungret St. Pauls came out stronger after the break but missed a crucial goal chance, they scored 3 points while Kilmallock hit 6 wides. With 10 minutes of the game left Kilmallock started to hit the target with 2 frees. Mungret St. Pauls shot for goal but it was saved, a placed ball for Mungret St. Pauls saw them 2 points behind, the clock was ticking and both teams knew it, Kilmallocks last score was from a free followed by a last chance by Mungret St. Pauls from field splitting the uprights to leave the teams 2 points apart.
Mungret St. Pauls need to regroup and concentrate on the last game, they are still in with a chance to go through with the top 3 from each group going through.
