The U6’s finished up for the year on Dec 8th with a few hurling and football games together, despite the miserable weather, followed by a big party in Mungret GAA hall. Once they had their fill of cakes, buns, sweets and carrots and humus they each received a Certificate of Achievement for their efforts during the year. A big thanks went out to all the parents for bringing goodies as well as bringing their children week-in, week-out to sessions. Coaches were also thanked and a ‘Chocolate Sliotar’ was presented to them all by TD Willie O Dea. U6’s will return again on Saturday January 12th 11am for football, weather permitting, with hurling on Monday 14th at 7pm under lights at Crescent Comp.
