Great praise is due to all our U-10 footballers who represented Limerick and their club at the annual Austin Stacks Tournament Saturday 27 October. Some great skills and teamwork shown. Eventual winners Naas showed us the way in our first match with fierce tackling and blocking that we had not seen before. They proved their skill in the 2 following games against 2 kerry teams to leave them second place in the group. After a break they played in the 2nd place final which resulted in a draw, a toss of a coin meant Mungret St. Pauls got to take home the trophy. U10 Hurling continues on Friday 6-7pm in the Crescent Comprehensive Astro pitches. After Christmas our 2008 born players will be moving to U11/12 .
