Mungret St. Pauls started out well with 3 points from play, Doon were a bit slower to get going but they did not stop once they started. After Doons opening point, Mungret St. Pauls scored another point, Doon replied with 2 points and a goal. 2 wides by Mungret St. Pauls was followed by their fifth point and Doon closed out the half with a further 3 points and their second goal.
The second half was much the same as the first for Mungret St. Pauls as they plugged away on their scores they seemed to come easier for Doon. There were some great saves on the goal mouth which helped to keep the score for getting out of hand with Mungret St. Pauls finishing 4 scores short (3 goals and a point).
