Mungret St. Pauls 0-15 Blackrock 1-10
In a game where the whistle was not used much on Sunday 23 September in Bruff, Mungret St. Pauls built a strong lead only to narrowly win by 2 points.
Mungret St. Pauls were missing their scores at the start of the game but after 7 minutes they started to get the direction right on the ball as they built up 4 points before Blackrock took their first score on the 12th minute, this they followed with a quick goal, a point a piece and Mungret St. Pauls got back into their stride before the whistle leaving the pitch 0-10 to 1-3, a lead for Mungret St. Pauls but not a big enough lead.
Back into the game Mungret St. Pauls went 4 points unanswered and again in the 12th minute Blackrock started to come back with their scores with Mungret St. Pauls last scoring on the fifteenth minute of the second half. It was Blackrock who wrote the play book for the last quarter edging close to our score but the final whistle came in time as it stopped Blackrock with Mungret St. Pauls two points ahead. They now have one more game left agaisnt Feohanagh on October 6.
