Mungret St. Pauls 2-16 Ahane 0-17
In the last game of the group on Friday 10 August it started in a point for point in the first half but the second half brought the goals and a place in the Semi Final for Mungret St. Pauls.
Mungret St. Pauls struggled to break through Ahane's defense and made hard work out of some points but matched each of Ahane's scores. Mungret St. Pauls missed 7 chances to Ahanes 4. When the whistle blew Ahane had the edge with a one point lead.
At the restart a slip up at the goal gave Mungret St. Pauls a boost with their first goal followed on with a well taken opportunity for a second one. Ahane only narrowed the gap to 2 points behind with 10 minutes left. Mungret St. Pauls used fresh legs and worked up the score again to win by 5 points. Mungret St. Pauls now go into a semi final place while Ahane go into a quarter final.
