Mungret St. Pauls 0-3 Doon 5-8
Wednesday 11 July our U-14 players traveled to Doon where they played a competitive match that got away from them in the second half. Doon are top of the table and our players are not a team to let a loss get them down. They were due to play Ballybrown only 2 days later and had to get their heads into that game.
Mungret St. Pauls 4-6 Ballybrown 0-3
Having taken a loss 2 days earlier our U-14 hurlers had put that game behind them and were ready to take on neighbours on Friday 13 July. They started out with great strides knocking over points holding back Ballybrown so much they only managed their first score in the dying minutes of the first half. The second half saw much the same style of strong play from our U-14s in their last match they were going to make sure they came off the pitch with a great win and they did. Well done to this team and their management.
