This game started out equal for the first 10 minutes until Patrickswell took up speed and overpowered Mungret St. Pauls, a gift of a goal for Mungret St. Pauls helped in Crecora on Friday 1 June.

The second half Mungret St. Pauls points were aided by Patrickswell giving away frees, one free to be mentioned was the fantastic sideline by our veteran which was expertly taken and sent soaring through the uprights without hesitation. A slip up by the Patrickswell goalie left Mungret St. Pauls with 2 players in the perfect position to push the sliotar in over the line. With thunder and rain threatening the game was closed with Patrickswell deserving winners.
