Mungret St. Pauls 2-6 Galtee Gaels 3-4
On Sunday 29 October our U-12 players traveled to Kilbehenny where they played a competitive match agaisnt Galtee Gaels, while Mungret St. Pauls had a younger group of players they were well matched to the Galtee Gaels and played a tight game which proved that goals make a difference to the game.
Mungret St. Pauls 2-12 Clauaghaun 2-2
On Monday 30 October our footballers showed no tiredness as they lines out the next day after their tough match against Galtee Gaels. This game showed great skill and drive. Claughaun had more players on the age who were taller than some of our players but it did not prevent any of our players in taking them on in a tackle. Mungret took an early lead and held the lead throughout the game with Claughaun only getting a goal passed our refenders by the break while Mungret St. Pauls had a goal and 8 points scored. The second half was similar play to the first half but there were more chances on goals for Mungret St. Pauls which where brilliantl cleared by the Claughaun goalkeeper and backs.
This was a great ending for both team as Mungret St. Pauls finished their league with a great win and Claughaun toped the league table.
