On Saturday 14th October, 30 of our U10 hurlers accompanied by their coaches and parents set off for an end of season tour to Dublin where they first went on a Guided Tour of Croke Park, visiting Players Lounge, Dressing Rooms, Warm Up Area and exiting though the tunnel to climb the steps to the Presentation Area and the Ard Comhairle Section where they learned about some of the history of Croke Park and then on to a Corporate Box to see what that looked like.
They then took part in some of the interactive games in the museum before having a picnic in the Shadow of the Cusack Stand.
It was then off to Round Towers GAA Club in Clondalkin for two challenge matches, where we got a very warm welcome and in which our players played very well.
To round off the stay the players were treated to Supermacs on the way home.
This is the end of our training and games for 2017 and we eagerly await the start of the 2018 season. Photographs from the day are on our club website by clicking HERE
