Mungret St. Pauls 0-18 Feohanagh 1-13
With the sun shining in the Bog Gardens the Junior B Hurlers were preparing for their opposition Feohanagh in the County Semi final on Sunday 8 October. Mungret St. Pauls fell behind early on and looked like they were struggling
with 14 wides but kept the memonetum going and made it work for them.
With 2 points a piece there was also a wide to each side with Mungret St. Pauls striking 5 more wide to Feohanaghs one additional wide. It was into the second quater of the game that Feohanagh pointed a free continuning with a second point they were leading the way with Mungret St. Pauls following up behind. Each side pointed a free with Mungret St. Pauls going a step further with 3 points and the lead but not for long as feohanagh fought back with 3 points and a goal in the closing minute of the first half.
The second half was where Mungret St. Pauls shone they were point for point in the opening stages of the half but Mungret St. Pauls placed 4 sliotars in a row to pull ahead they drew one more time before Mungret St. Pauls took the game in hand and while they sent 3 wide in the latter stage of the game the two last points were the ones that really counted and brought them forward to the County Final where they meet either Bruff or Fedamore.
