The yearly Junior Hurling match against Cappamore took place on Saturday 16 September, this match is played in memory of Seamus McCarthy who was known by both clubs and is a reminder of mental health issues. With Cappamore holding on to the ownership of the cup last year, Mungret St. Pauls were delighted to edge into the lead and hold the cup once more.
