Mungret St. Pauls 1-12 Blackrock 1-13
Thursday 24 August was not a great day for Mungret St. Pauls as they took on Blackrock in Ballyagran but with a close game they were 2 points short of a win.
Blackrock had 2 points on the board before Mungret St. Pauls joined the game with a point and after another 2 points from Blackrock Mungret St. Pauls shook the net with a goal evening the score. After 3 unanswered points Blackrock came back and drew the game again, it was point for point until just before the whistle when Blackrock replied with a goal of their own leaving them in the lead going into the break.
Mungret St. Pauls came back on the pitch fighting taking their score up to level again. There were not many more scores for both sides but Blackrock had that one point lead by the final whistle, this now leaves Mungret St. Pauls in the play offs for relegation to stay in the Premier Intermediate group.
