The rain held off for the length of the match which brought the supporters out to witness the Junior hurlers progress into the Final for a second year in a row. Kildimo Pallaskenry started out strong with a 2 point lead while Mungret St. Pauls settled themselves into the game with a strong goal accompanied with 3 points. For each point that Kildimo Pallaskenry put over Mungret St. Pauls were sending 2 which brought half time to a close with Mungret St. Pauls 5 points ahead.
The opening score for the second half was Mungret St. Pauls second goal, while Kildimo Pallaskenry kept working on their score they were struggling to catch up with Mungret St. Pauls who kept a good distance on the score board throughout. Any attempts on a goal for Kildimo Pallaskenry went comfortably into our goalies hand, while Kildimo Pallaskenry goalie had to work a bit harder no more goals were seen. Mungret St. Pauls now meet Ballybrown for the second time in the Final.
