Mungret St. Pauls 2-2 Athea 4-15
A game of two halves this young team really stood up to Athea in the first half but the second half they failed to hold back the visitors. On Tuesday 25 July our U-13 team playing in division 3 of the U-14 championship. Mungret St. Pauls got their first boot in with a point but Athea cleared 4 points before Mungret St. Pauls bounced back with a cracking goal. Athea sealed the end of the half with 2 points.
The second half saw Athea celebrating with a second goal shortly after the throw in. Mungret St. Pauls doubled their first half score and worked well on the pitch trying to hold back their runners and breaking through the defence. There were little mistakes that Athea punished Mungret St. Pauls for. Athea were successful in their scores while Mungret St. Pauls took charge of the ball they were not so lucky on placing scoring ball.
