Mungret U 12 football had two teams out this week and started with the Whites playing Ballybrown away on a wet slippery Thursday evening. This proved to be a competitive outing for our lads who were missing a few but stood up well to a spirited and physical Ballybrown team. We had 17 players on view and all did their bit to come away with a 1-8 to 1-4 win. Thanks to Kevin O Hagan for referring this match.
On Friday night Mungret u12 reds were at home to St. Patricks in very wet conditions. This was again a very physical and tough match in which the Reds football prowess came to the fore as there was a somewhat over physical approach taken by the visitors. Our lads withstood this to come away with a 3-9 to 1-1 scoreline. Again great credit to our 18 players on view who played well in trying conditions.
