Mungret St. Pauls 0-14 Croom 0-18
In a game where Limerick Motor Centre sponsored Mungret St. Pauls started out strong they held their own and fought back in the second half but the absence of a goal was the loss of the game.
The first half saw Mungret St. Pauls give a lot of scoring chances to Croom when they met in Mungret on Wdnesday 31 May with most of these frees going wide. Mungret St. Pauls popped over the first score of the game from a placed ball but took all rest of their first half scores from play with only 3 wides near the end of the half time whistle.
Croom had the edge going back for the second half with a 4 point lead this was a slower start where Mungret St. Pauls were holding back Croom and we received more scoring chances from frees and converted most of them with many wides from play. Croom were more accurate in their scoring in this side. There was a lot of messy play from both sides in mid field, hand passes were not clean and often fumbled. They will regroup and prepare for the next game ahead.
