Mungret St. Pauls 2-20 Grannagh Ballingarry 3-19

With a delay at the start the match in Ballingarry on Sunday 23 April it eventually started. In what was a high scoring match there were some great tricky shots on target. Pressure was put on our backs from the start but a score was denied. Grannagh Ballingarry looked strong and in control but Mungret St. Pauls were chipping in points keeping a tight rein on the score board. Grannagh Ballingarry had the lead for most of the match and it was in the last quater of the match where it really started to heat up when Mungret St. Pauls closed the game and took a lead with a goal, Grannagh Ballingarry did not let the lead sit long on the score board and it started into a score for score until the dying minutes of the game where Grannagh Ballingarry stuck in a chance goal which gave them a 2 point lead.
