Congratulations to our quiz team who were presented with the Junior Scor Munster cup and medals on Sat night as they were the best of the munster teams in the All Ireland quiz in Belfast.

Well done to our senior scor set dancers in the Scór Sinsear Munster final in Cappamore on Saturday April 8. Teresa Fitzgerald, Josephine O’Brien, Helen McKeogh, Martina O’Halloran, Anne Hynes, Margaret O’Connor, Aileen Nestor and Noelle Connolly, they preformed very well but had very tough competition.

Congratulations to St Nessan’s School Mungret who took part in Scor Na Paisti on Fri 31st March.  Mungret school came 2nd in solo singing, figure dancing and instrumental music in a very high standard of competition.  Well done to all the children who took part in the competition.  A great achievement for the school.  Thank you to Ms Marguerite Quinn Principal for organising the children for the event.
