Mungret St. Pauls 1-17 Muroe Boher 3-20
Friday 7 April in Claughaun was the setting for the first Premier Intermediate match against Muroe Boher. Mungret St. Pauls took a little while to get into the game Muroe Boher took advantage and an early lead but once Mungret St. Pauls settled onto the game they started to draw level to Muroe Boher and were getting in some excelent scores from tight angles. Mungret St. Pauls edged into the lead which was followed up by a goal by Muroe Boher but a quick reply by us saw Mungret St. Pauls with the lead again. In what was a high scoring half it was the easy frees that let Mungret St. Pauls down.
The second half was a harder game for Mungret St. Pauls as Muroe Boher took charge from the off and were finding the uprights with ease. We fought hard to the end of the game but never gave up at any stage during the match.

On Tuesday 11 April the premier intermediate team were out again, this time with a home advantage having being defeated on Friday they were still raw from the loss and not wanting that feeling again they put every thing they had into this game and it paid off for them.
