Well done to our minors ladies who travelled to Ballyhahill last Sunday evening to take the win against Gerald Griffins in the minor league. Both teams made the most of the good conditions to give their players a good run out. Mungret St. Pauls proved to strong in most areas of the pitch and were full of running getting many decent scores.
Our U-16 team went down to St Ailbes on Monday evening on the main club pitch. After a bright start by Mungret St. Pauls, Ailbe's managed to control midfield for long periods but Mungret St. Pauls ladies got good scores when moving the ball at pace from the backs.
Feile weekend is upon us this Saturday and Sunday. We have home advantage on Saturday when we will host two other teams for the west division. Throw in is due at 12.00 noon. Parents expect a call from the U-14 management for some help on the day.
Hard luck to Pat Galvin, part of the Limerick U-16 management, who lost to Corofin last Saturday on a beautiful day for ladies football. Congratulations to Claire O'Meara who got a run out for the Limerick Ladies intermediate team last Sunday afternoon against Roscommon.
