Under 12 Hurlers are back training in the Crescent Comprehensive on Wednesday evenings for February and March working on Fundamental movements and hurling skills. The team were invited to participate in the U-12 City Development Spring League, hosted by St Patricks. These games are held on a Thursday evening where there are three groups of four teams. We decided to enter in two teams to provide the players with as much game time as possible to aid their development and to try players in new positions on the field of play. Each team will play two games on the night and the league is run over four weeks. U-12 hurling panel has 35 players. Due to holidays and other commitments we had 20 players on the night. All the players played very good hurling in all four games. There was some exceptional team play, some good hard tackles, brave blocking and excellent scores in all four games. Thanks to all players who listed who played on the night.
